From Gangs to Grace MC Blvd grew up in North Hollywood, where he faced the challenges of street life from a young age. At just fourteen, he was initiated into a gang, and through this tumultuous experience, he endured significant loss, including the tragic deaths of friends due to gang violence. This profound experience inspired him to write "I Remember You, Homie," a song that gained recognition and became a hit in the Southwest region of the United States. Despite his rising fame in the music industry, MC Blvd struggled with a lifestyle that left him feeling lost and without purpose. His life took a transformative turn in 2000 when a pastor in Orange County introduced him to the love of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Since then, MC Blvd has dedicated his life to serving and ministering for the Kingdom of God. He has actively engaged with various communities, visiting churches, prisons, and outreach programs to share the message of Jesus Christ and inspire others with his story of redemption.
